Slight bump in the road - Billings MT

We left Missoula at 7 am and arrived in Billings around 2:30 pm. a total of 350 miles or so.  The motorhome was not running good, flooding out and idling rough whenever we stopped.  We found a Precision Automotive and they have it for the night so we are at a Holiday Inn for tonight.  They said they could work on it today and they put a 911 status on it and we should have it back in the morning so we can continue on.  Could be carburator problems.  We were smelling a lot of exhaust fumes Monday on the way to Missoula. Our next destination is Casper, WY.  Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  We could have broken down in the middle of nowhere but GOD IS GOOD!!  I took pictures from Missoula to Billings and will post some of them.  There isn't a whole lot to see and towns are far and few between and a lot of them have no services.  We crossed two passes on the way and one of them was at an elevation of 6,200 ft. or so.  Stopped at a rest area in Butte which was very nice.  I'm not sure what they are called but at the rest stop they had several places explaining about the Lewis & Clark expedition.  It was interesting to read them and we walked all the way around the building reading them and taking pictures of history.

  1. Marilyn is your motor home diesel? (sp) Mike bought a truck and we finally got aroung to reading it. It said that you had to keep the one temp. gauge set there even if the truck is parked. Well that was the problem and it is fine now. You know those knobs that say heat , outside air, defrost etc. that is what I am refering to. might want to recheck your manual to the rv and it could be something as simple as we found out. If you seem to have any problems again. Passes and high elevation can be touchie driving an RV.
